I have been back on Weight Watchers for 6 weeks now and have been doing really well. I have made my mind up that I am going to get back to the weight I was when I moved to the UK. I figured it out when I started back at the first of Jan, and think that I could easily lose 30 pounds by Aug if I lost an avaerage of 2 pounds per week. So far I have succeded with exactly that - approx 2 pounds per week. I am nearly half way there already and I still have over 5 months!
There have been many challenges over the past 6 weeks, but I have managaed to stick to it. I think the biggest help is going to the gym. If I keep up with my 3-4 cardio classes per week, I make up for any days when I eat over my points a little. I have also tried to stick to a lot of fruit and veg, so if I do go over my points it is usually on core foods. This means it is better for me and won't make me gain weight.
Lately I have had some cravings, so I am giving in and actually eating whatever I am craving. I just make sure I count the points, or have it after I weight in for the week so I have a week to make up for it.
This week I had to weight in a day early becasue I went away for Valentine's Day. I did eat out for Valentine's and hope I didn't over do it too much. Kenny is cooking tonight, which is always a challenge. He is making mushroom risotto and bruschetta. We also have a banoffee pie for pudding. I know it is going to be high points, but I have been saving up today and went to the gym to earn some extra points.

Another week on the horizon...
Wow, the weeks seem to be flying by lately. This week went really quick. I managed to lose 2.5 pounds even though I ate over my points most days. I was committed to the gym this week and I think that is why I had success. I went to Legs, bums, tums on Friday, spin on Sat, and cardio blast Monday. I attempted to go to Body Pump on Wed, but the instructor cancelled.
Around this time in the week I came down with a sore throat. This quickly changed over to a nasty cold which I am still fighting. I haven't been able to go to the gym all weekend and am not sure I will be bale to go tomorrow. I am really trying to stay in the points. If I can't exercise, I may not lose weight this week. I can see my goal in the near future. I only have to lose 6 more pounds before I don't have to pay anymore. I can't wait!

The Weekend
I always find the weekend full of so many temptations. The boys are home and they always get out the chocolate bars or take-away and offer me some. I have been quite good at saying no, but last nigth I did cave and have a few chips and chicken...which inevitably put me over my points yet again. Thank goodness I went to spin class yesterday morning and worked my buns off. I have been working hard at he gym since Thursday and hopefully it will kick start my weigth loss again.
The weekend is almost over. I am sitting here thinking about school tomorrow and wondering if I am prepared. I think I am...this should be a fun week as my topic is games and puzzles. I have had a much better days today, as far as points go. I still have three points left, so I am planning a snack in an hour. I haven't done a food journal in way too long so here it goes...
